Mr. Jacob Montross is founder and Managing Partner of Cambodia’s most well known and trusted luxury bus company, Giant Ibis Transportation. He also wears a number of other hats in the business world including Master Franchisee for Century 21; Managing Director of the Royal Cambodian Limousine Service company, Board Director of BMW’s Distributorship, and proprietor of a Mexican Restaurant, Sunrise Tacos.
Mr. Montross who launched Giant Ibis Transport with only 6 buses operating between Phnom Penh, the capital, and Siem Reap, has seen his company grow to 40 buses maintaining 75% occupancy. It is the most well known and trusted passenger bus company in Cambodia, transporting more than 20,000 passengers per month. Giant Ibis Transportation also innovates by incorporating corporate social responsibility into their business model by donating to conservation efforts of the Giant Ibis bird in Cambodia.
In his other roles, Mr. Montross launched Royal Cambodian Limousine Service, the official transportation provider of the Cambodian government, as well as had roles in launching and directing international brands in Camboida such as KFC, BMW, Century 21, and Sunrise Tacos, among other brands.
Given his track record of success, Mr. Montross is a senior member of the Royal Group of Companies, the franchisee of many international brands in Cambodia.
Mr. Montross graduated Magna Cum Laude receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Arizona State University, U.S.A. He is a member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (Australia),
